Busy, Busy Days
Here are new pictures of Miss Lucy. My apologies for not updating in so long but I did not have a computer for a week. My computer had a Trojan virus (funny, I thought Trojan was suppose to help prevent viruses.) We have had a lot going on. Anyways, here are the pictures:

4th of July
Lucy's first 4th of July began like any other day. After she played for a while in the morning I finally got her dressed. I had a little patriotic outfit for her which, may I say was hard to find. With her crawling everywhere dresses are impossible for her, and anyone who knows me knows I don't really do dresses all that much. So I was very proud of my tank and short outfit. Then one day Lucy and I were at Target and on the $1 rack were patriotic items like her adorable bandanna and tattoos so I bought them and I think she is just as adorable wearing them.
Lucy and I had to go to the grocery store and she received every look imaginable from "Oh she's SO cute" to "I can't believe her mother dressed her like that." It was great!
Later in the day we went to Aunt Joann's and Uncle Jerry's for some swim time. Lucy loves the water and loves to swim. I think I have a little fish on my hands. We had a great time.
Unfortunately for Lucy she was so tired from her day of swimming she was passed out sound asleep and never knew fireworks happened. Grant and I watched them on t.v..
Just so you don't think Grant avoided us all day, he was home resting with a terrible cold. The poor guy has been sick the past 2 weekends. He's getting better now - finally!

Busy, Busy Week
Our week began with a trip to Sea World with the Herrin family and Aunt Holly. Thank you to Aunt Holly for the 4 free tickets and my annual pass. Nothing like free admission to make your day a little better. I don't know about Lucy and Trinity but us adults had a great time. Of course the kiddos missed the dolphins and whales during the shows but they would see the splash of the animal after their trick. I know Lucy's favorite part of the day was the Shark Encounter; going through the tube with sharks all around her kept her attention. Lucy also enjoyed the Polar Bears. They were out playing and eating. Once she focused on them, they had her attention. We can't wait to return when they are a little bigger and really enjoy all Sea World has to offer.
Started the day with a nap to Sea World.

Lucy loved the aquariums.
Thursday, I decided to get Lucy out of the house and head to the Del Mar Fair. Sorry it will always be the Del Mar Fair to me. I called up Grandpa Steve and he joined in on the fun relaxing day. One thing about Lucy is that she is a nosy little kid and is always people watching. The fair was the perfect place for great people watching. And one thing I told my dad was, "coming to the fair shows you how you don't want your child to grow up." My gosh, some of the clothing choices and the piercings - ouch that has to hurt!
We missed the actual Swifty Swine races but Lucy was able to check out the pot bellied pigs outside the race arena. We walked through the animal barns and found some of the kids we know from the local FFA chapter and 4H club. After that we mingled through the exhibit hall and strolled around. Over all we had a lot of fun and would be very sad to see the fair leave San Diego. I know I have great memories of living there for two weeks with my animals.

Lucy's first pony ride.
Lucy's favorite mode of transportation. Unfortunately for Grandpa his hat and sunglasses took the beating of Lucy.
