Dogs, Friends, and more Pumpkins

The dogs have officially taken to Lucy. I know they have always accepted Lucy but now she can do whatever she wants to them, Ginger especially! Lucy can not do anything to hurt or annoy Ginger. Ginger is sat on, kneeled on and ridden like a horse. Dixie gets the occasional pat on the back as she walks around in circles, all she sees is a shadow moving her direction and tries to get away. But as you can see there is love given to one another.

Lucy had visitors at Grandma and Grandpa Martins not too long ago. The Herrins came over and Trinity cruised up in her pink car - which as you can see Lucy LOVES!!! That's okay Trinity loved Lucy's shopping cart. Although on the wood floor and wearing only socks Grandma had to keep Trinity from sliding across the floor. Lucy and Trinity enjoy visiting at the others home so they can play with new toys. Funny how tired they get with their own toys.

Had to take a rest with Grandpa and Ford

Lucy and mom had dinner with Gene, Amanda and Tyla. Tyla was about 3 weeks old and I don't think Lucy understood why Tyla didn't do anything but sleep. Although as you can see when Tyla was out of her swing Lucy thought it was her turn to go for a ride. It's kind of funny because as an infant Lucy did not care for her swing but now she found it fun. While Lucy was swinging Gene turned the speed to the fastest at level 6 and Lucy almost flew out of it. Unfortunately this was the first night Grant had to work nights so he was not able to be with us.

Our official home project helper. Here she is helping dad nail the baseboard up.

Well I told you we would have to visit another pumpkin patch or two. We did!! Lucy and I went to Summer's Past one day while dad was sleeping. Lucy had fun again but it was not as good as the first pumpkin patch she'd been to. Oh well we enjoyed ourselves and allowed dad to get some much needed sleep.

Pumpkin Patch Fun

Lucy went to her first official Pumpkin Patch today! And with dad working nights I made him join Lucy and I in this great fun. He had a lot of fun once he was there. A little sidebar here but, it is funny how when we are home or anything else for the most part Lucy is a complete mommas girl but today she wanted her daddy. Anyways back to the pumpkin patch. We went to the local dairy where there was the petting zoo and plenty of kids activities. They had the hay ride but the driver was taking his lunch break so we missed out on this fun.

Lucy having fun with the animals in the petting zoo...

Had to take advantage of the Mr. and Mrs. Farmer picture opp.
Lucy had a very difficult time picking out her free pumpkin but she finally found the one for her. Grant informed me I was not to influence her in any way - which I did not.
Can't wait for next year's pumpkin patch festivities!! We may have to hit a few other pumpkin patch's just for the fun of fall!!!
