Lucy and mom have been very busy hanging out. As usual we do our Lake Murray walks 3 or 4 days a week. Tuesday we met Andy, Cash and Jack for a brisk walk and this time I remembered to bring bread for the ducks. After our walk we found some shade in the sand and took the kiddos out of the strollers. I began throwing bread out for about 10 ducks, they quickly lost interest and then 3 geese came our way. One big white goose with a huge horn on it's head and piercing red eyes had Andy and I a little concerned. I continually threw bread at this particular goose just to keep it away from the kids. After a few minutes the geese waddled back into the water and swan away. Although the next thing we knew we had 2 seagulls come to visit. They quickly snatched the food, and then there were 4, then we were invaded by 20 seagulls flying in front of us. I was throwing big pieces of bread at one point and there was 5 seagulls that collided in hopes of eating. It was amazing! Andy pointed out that there were no ducks in sight any longer. Poor duckies.
Saturday Lucy, Grandma Joyce and myself walked to my cousins to visit their new little girl - Summer Rae Castle. She was born on April 29 at 12:05 am. Lucy loved her and wanted to pat her like a dog. There was a little jealousy when she saw mom holding a new baby.
Oh she is sooo cute!! It's crazy because it's been so long since I have seen you guys especially Grant but when her big picture popped up I thought, "Oh, my god! she has Grant's eyes!" Hey thanks for stopping by Taylor Times and leaving a comment. It had been a while since I had updated it but now I am on the up and up and plan on keeping it that way. Take care
